Ms Mary mentioned a mission for the McShanes last Monday so we meandered down a municipal road in search of mica; a mirror-like mineral often be found as veins/fissures in metamorphosed gneiss. (More on that later...care of Suzanne and some other MDNM Masterminds.) We maneuvered through the scree to find morsels of this magical mica. Made it back to the people-mover and managed to return to our mansion much more enlightened. Many may try to make their way to this magnificent mass of mica, but mark my words, this mini mine will remain a mystery.
