Updated: Apr 3, 2020

McShane Approved Activities; A running list of tried and tested ideas that have successfully kept our brood sane...ish.

INDOOR ACTIVITIES

Lunch Doodles With Mo Willems. - Guided drawing lessons from The Kennedy Centre in Washington

Neighbourhood Window Walks - Every few days, the kids in the 'hood create a themed piece of art to display for passers by to find! Get's the small humans outside and provides a goal (distraction).

Facebook Messenger Kids app - They're little, but they're lonely too! This is a great way to give them a bit of independence and keep them connected with their friends.

FITNESS

My old team at Sport & Social Group initiated a callout; A daily #keepplayingchallenge is posted at 2pm, and you have 24hrs to provide video evidence of completion. Day 1 was 20 pushups. I opted for cheaters from the knee but Georgia killed it. Free for anyone who wants in: www.facebook.com/groups/ssgkeepplayingchallenge.

CrossFit Sudbury is hosting Zoom sessions (live video) free for anyone interested. They've already provided yoga, mobility, core and breathwork to name a few. Follow their Facebook Page to find the links posted daily.

F45 Pickering Central hosts Vimeo workouts daily. Let my inlaws kick your ass. Anyone can join!
